George Grie ~ A Master of Digital Surrealist art
George Grie is a Russian-Canadian artist who went against the conventional Soviet approach of political art work.
Born in 1962 in the USSR, Grie was influenced from an early age by surrealist artists such as the famous Salvador Dali.
His work blends an interesting mix of political philosophy laced with fantasies and dreams. Illusions of the supernatural, an air of romanticism also fuel this artists creativity.
He was educated and trained from an early age and in the early nineties he was working in St Petersburg where he hung around other known musicians and other artists.
He is an example of how an artist can become very successful and recognised using the Digital platform.
